It is our goal to provide a safe, comfortable and nurturing environment for your child. The Little Safari is for ages birth-5 years old, where children are read to, played with, and cared for each Sunday by experienced volunteers that love kids! Our environment is broken up into 2 classrooms – Birth-2 years old & 3-5 years old.
In our older classroom, our primary goal is to use weekly curriculum to teach your child 3 basic principles:
1) God Made Me
2) God Loves Me
3) Jesus Wants to Be My Friend Forever
Not only is it our goal to care for your child, but we also want you to be able to experience our service with no distractions.
Velocity is our ministry for children K-5th grade. It serves and strives to be a relevant, yet fun place where kids connect, grow and engage in a relationship with Jesus Christ and their friends. We know that once a child starts school life starts going FAST – thus, we want to help them manage the “Velocity” of life.
Our Velocity environment is broken up into 2 classrooms – K-2nd Grade & 3rd-5th grade. Most Sundays, our Velocity kids come into the Auditorium together to experience worship. After worship, the kids go back to their classrooms to hear a relevant message of Jesus Christ, engage in group discussion, & participate in games and activities that drive home the bottom line.
Our Velocity curriculum focuses on teaching our kids 3 basic truths before they head to middle school:
1) I Need to Make the Wise Choice
2) I Can Trust God No Matter What
3) I Should Treat Others the Way I Want to Be Treated
Not only does our Velocity environment focus on growing our kids, but we want to be a great resource to our parents. We do this in 2 ways. First, we focus on safety and security. We want parents to be able to engage in the service with a peace-of-mind that their kids are getting our best! We have a Check-In system that provides tags and pick-up tags for each child. Additionally, every Sunday, your kid will receive a “God Time”. God Times are designed to give parents activities that they can do at home with their kids during the week. We believe parents are the best spiritual leaders of their families, but sometimes it’s hard to know where to start. God Times are the perfect way for us to partner with you at home!
Aftershock is for grades 6-12. It is devoted to raising teens in the foundational truths of Jesus Christ, while creating an environment to develop friendships and have fun. Aftershock also creates many avenues for spiritual growth through events, serving and conferences.
AFTERSHOCK meets regularly on Sunday nights from 6:00-7:30 pm at Core.
